Joe Figueroa has been a Philadelphia Latin Dance mainstay for over twenty years. His versatility as a dancer, performer, teacher, promoter and DJ along with his love for Latin dance has given him the title "The One Man Show."

A master instructor in both Salsa and Bachata, a unique ability to lead any one, and a mental database of dance knowledge is why he is the most sought after Latin Dance expert in the Tri-state area.  He has taught classes in cities all over the U.S. as well as abroad in countries such as England, Canada, Germany, Scotland, Ireland, the Caribbean, and Asia.  He approaches every workshop from a SOCIAL DANCE level, making him a favorite at Congresses and Festivals everywhere since what he teaches is always achievable and applicable right away for the dance floor.

When it comes to Bachata he is known as "The DJ's DJ" since most of the local DJ's in the area come listen to him for the hottest music. Using his love for Salsa and Bachata, Joe spends hours studying trends to find the hottest Latin dance music to play. All of his Latin dance parties caters to the most hard core Latin Dance lovers in the area. Many Salsa and Bachata celebrities have come through his doors when visiting Philly. His popularity has made his dance events the most attended and talked about in the Tri-state area. Joe also has been called upon to play at multiple venues around the world - major congresses like Las Vegas, Los Angeles and all over Florida, as well as abroad in cities like London, Glasgow, Berlin and Tokyo. Joe felt an itch to get his thoughts about social dancing out on the internet.  In 2019 he started LIRDANCETV. A youtube channel dedicated to Salsa and Bachata dancing. Currently his videos are viewed weekly by Latin dancers all around the world. Starting in 2023 Joe is opening a Patreon account to compliment his Youtube Channel.
